I try to attach my design philosophies to a quote from Dutch legend Johann Cruyff: “Playing football is very simple, but playing simple football is the hardest thing there is.”
Pushing pixels in Sketch or Figma to create an aesthetically beautiful product is easy. Building the right product, however, involves a trying journey of risk, failure, and willingness to improve upon the past. These "journeys" (and a few dope mentors) have taught me that empathy, genuinely understanding the motivations and frustrations of people, lies at the core of the most effective design. I'm eager to progress as a designer, to better understand design's ability to positively influence the world around us, and I'd love to bend your ear if you want to geek out about the space I love.
